about

On April 7th, 2021 Roger Allen was murdered by Daly City Police on Niantic Ave. He was sitting in his car due to a flat tire. Did this warrant multiple police officers at the scene? Or an engagement which would eventually lead to the end of his life?

The community and his family are extremely hurt and enraged by the handling of the case. This song is a reflection of that outcry for justice. Where mainstream news have overlooked this, grassroots organizations and advocates have hosted countless demonstrations to raise his name and story.

Another one lost in a police related killing. It all begs the question: Is the current state of policing working? If not, what should be emphasized more?

The song is free to download. We hope it starts the conversation. If you decide to purchase (at any price), proceeds will go towards organizations deeply tied to seeking justice for Roger Allen.
